Duration of the course is four year with
each academic year, which spread over a period of not less 180 working days. |

Institute will conduct three
periodic tests in theory subjects (20 marks each) and
two |

periodic tests in practical subjects (20
marks each) throughout each year of study out of which
two best performances in theory subject shall be sent
to the university. The annual examination will be conducted
by M.U.H.S. is of 80 marks in theory as well as practical |

No candidates shall be admitted
first, second, third, fourth B.D.S. Examinations |

of having previously passed |

of Maharashtra Board. |

The B.D.S. Examination of the university
respectively and kept two terms in college/institutions
recognized for the purpose by M.U.H.S. |

To pass the First, Second, Third or Fourth
examination candidate must obtain at least |

50% of total marks in each theory and practical
head at both M.U.H.S. college level exams. |

Note the theory and practical in subject
shall be construed as separate heads of the |

examination. |

|
Minimum 75% attendance in theory and 80%
in practical is compulsory for |
| |
candidates in academic year otherwise he/she
will not permit to sit for the Annual Examination. |

No A.T.K.T. is allowed by M.U.H.S. |
|
|
Candidates successful in the final fourth
year in B.D.S. Examination will be awarded |
| |
the classes ranks on the marks obtained
at the fourth year B.D.S. for theory and practical examination
as under. |

|
Those who obtained 70% and above- First
class with Distribution. Those obtained |
| |
50% and above but below 60% of the total
Marks Second class. All other candidate pass class. |
